About D's Dust Bunnies
A Lot More Than a Cute Name.
What started as one woman's cleaning business in 1995 has grown into a family-owned company serving homes, businesses, and rental properties throughout Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin.
More than 30 years later, we're still doing what Denise set out to do: taking good care of our customers and giving them one less thing to worry about.

Our Story
Meet Denise, the Original Head Bunny
Back in 1995, Denise started D's Dust Bunnies with a simple idea: provide good, dependable cleaning and treat customers the way she'd want to be treated herself.
She knew that inviting someone into your home or business takes trust. Showing up, doing the work properly, and paying attention to the little things weren't extras. They were how you built a business worth calling again.
And apparently, there were plenty of dust bunnies to keep her busy.
Over the years, word spread. Customers recommended Dust Bunnies to their friends and neighbors. The business grew, the team expanded, and the services grew along with it. What began with residential cleaning now includes commercial spaces, real estate properties, vacation rentals, and more.
But through all that growth, the heart of the business has stayed the same.
Denise, affectionately known as the Head Bunny, has spent more than three decades learning what works, developing cleaning standards, and building relationships with customers throughout the community.
Today, an experienced team of cleaning professionals carries that work forward. Our office team helps customers arrange their services, while our cleaners bring the same attention to detail into the homes and businesses we serve.
Some of our customers have been with us for more than a decade. We don't take that kind of loyalty lightly.
Thirty-plus years, a whole lot of dust bunnies, and a business we're proud to call our own.

Teams of Two or More
Our cleaners work in teams of two or more, and every team member is trained and background-checked. D's Dust Bunnies is also licensed, bonded, and insured. You should feel comfortable with the people caring for your home, and we work hard to earn that confidence.
Our Own Cleaning Checklist
Denise's 46-point cleaning checklist helps our teams deliver consistent results, room by room. For recurring residential customers, we also rotate additional deep-cleaning attention through the home, giving a different room its turn during each visit.
We Bring the Supplies
Our cleaning teams arrive with their own supplies, so you don't have to worry about stocking up before we arrive. Have a product you prefer for a particular surface? Let us know. We're happy to discuss using the cleaning supplies you provide.

We may cover a lot of ground these days, but we're still the same family-owned business at heart.
